Terms of sale

Last updated: June 10, 2026

Article 1 — Purpose

These terms of sale govern the sale of image-generation credit packs on the Caaartoons website (https://caaartoons.com), published by Alex-Adrien Auger (“the publisher”). Any purchase implies full acceptance of these terms.

Article 2 — The service

Caaartoons generates personalized cartoon illustrations from the descriptions provided by the user (context, characters, scenes), using an artificial-intelligence model. Each generated image consumes one credit. Generated images are kept in the user's personal gallery.

Article 3 — Price

Credits are sold in packs of 10 credits for €5 (all taxes included). The applicable price is the one displayed at the time of purchase. The publisher may change its prices at any time, with no effect on packs already purchased.

Article 4 — Order and payment

Payment is made online, by card, through the secure Stripe platform. The sale is concluded when Stripe confirms the payment. The publisher never has access to card details.

Article 5 — Delivery of credits

Credits are added to the user's account immediately after payment confirmation (usually within seconds). They are tied to the account's email address, are personal, non-transferable, and do not expire as long as the account exists.

Article 6 — Right of withdrawal

Credits are digital content and a digital service supplied immediately, without any tangible medium. In accordance with Article L221-28 of the French Consumer Code, the right of withdrawal cannot be exercised for a contract whose performance has begun with the consumer's prior express consent and express waiver of their right of withdrawal.

At the time of purchase, the user expressly requests immediate performance of the contract (immediate delivery of the credits) and expressly waives their right of withdrawal by ticking the box provided for that purpose before payment. Purchased packs are therefore neither returned nor refunded, except where required by law or as a goodwill gesture.

Article 7 — AI-generated content

Images are produced by an artificial-intelligence model: their rendering is inherently variable, and the publisher guarantees neither resemblance to the people described nor any particular style or quality. A credit is only consumed for an image that is actually generated: if generation fails for technical reasons, no credit is deducted.

Article 8 — Use of the images

The user may freely use the images generated from their account for personal purposes and share them. The user warrants that the descriptions they provide do not infringe third-party rights (image rights, intellectual property) and will not use the service to produce unlawful content; the publisher may suspend an account in case of obvious abuse.

Article 9 — Availability and liability

The publisher strives to keep the service available but does not guarantee uninterrupted operation (maintenance, reliance on third-party providers). Its liability is limited to the amount of the pack concerned. Reasonable usage limits (number of generations per hour) apply to protect the service.

Article 10 — Personal data

The processing of personal data is described in the privacy policy.

Article 11 — Governing law, disputes and mediation

The service is operated from France and these terms are governed by French law. The service is available worldwide: if the mandatory consumer-protection rules of your country of residence grant you additional rights, those rights are unaffected by these terms.

In case of difficulty, please contact the publisher first at alexadrienauger@icloud.com. In accordance with Articles L611-1 et seq. of the French Consumer Code, consumers may use a consumer mediation service free of charge to seek an amicable resolution of a dispute.
